Medtronic Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist Brooke Marynak

Brooke Marynak began her career at Medtronic as a global supply management intern in 2020. She advanced through the company, spending time as an associate strategic sourcing specialist and strategic sourcing specialist, before becoming a senior strategic sourcing specialist and human resources services lead in 2024. Her accomplishments include securing more than $10 million in cost savings through supplier negotiations, winning the 2022 Peer Advisor of the Year Award for her mentoring services, and optimizing compliance efforts. Brooke Marynak has also driven alignment with information technology guidelines and internal policies.

In her role as a senior strategic sourcing specialist, Brooke Marynak manages supplier relations and communications with internal stakeholders, overseeing a multi-million dollar portfolio. She is skilled in the use of various tools and technologies, including SAP, Ariba Guided Buying, Readsoft, and Microsoft Suite.

Brooke Marynak studied supply chain and information systems at Penn State University. During her time there, she served as the university relations director for Women in Business and as a member of the THON Rules and Regulations Committee, in addition to mentoring students at the Smeal College of Business.
